I was closing the building at work, trying to be quick because a severe storm seemed to be coming and I didn’t want to get caught in the heavy rain and possible flooding. Outside the sky was yellow-gold with splashes of pink with a mix of cream colored and black clouds. However I wasn’t quick enough getting out of the building and suddenly large amounts of water from tidal waves came rushing toward me and my coworkers. It was crazy water just kept coming and the world seemed to turn into a world of nothing but water and it kept coming. I left everything behind including my car and found a discarded mattress floating nearby to use as a raft as I did my best to navigate this new water world. A couple times I went under but I could see and everything from buildings to roads to parks were all just under water. It was a beautiful kind of scary seeing this new water world so vividly. Eventually I got ahead of the tidal waves of water and found myself walking along an odd road made of a mixture of turf, blue rubber and concrete. I walked for a bit until I came to what appeared to be a large convenience store that seemed to have everything you need. It even had a section of brand new cars. I knew my car was long gone from the water rushing through and transforming the world so I approached the man at the customer service desk in front of the new car section of the store. I asked him for a car and if we could work out a payment plan because I don’t have a ton of money and my car was lost to the tidal waves which seem to still be coming this way. He said all these cars are free and they have been modified to help navigate our newly transforming water world. He gave me a receipt-like paper with 4 blank lines and said write your name on the 1st line, write the make of the car you like on the 2nd line, the model of the car you like on the 3rd line, and the color of the car on the 4th line and then bring it back to me so I can collect it and get you the paperwork, title, car registration and keys for your new car. I walked around looking at the new cars until I found a brand new 2025 blue-grey, all gas Toyota Camry. I did what the man told me and brought the paper back to him. He said great choice and I followed him into an office to fill out the paperwork. Once that was done he gave me the title, registration, and keys to my new car and saw me off saying enjoy it! I started to move quickly again because I don’t know how much time I had before more tidal waves caught up and consumed this area like they have all these other areas behind me. It was a really strange dream it was like I was suddenly in an alternate universe, one that was a water world or becoming nothing but water world. Streets were made of that weird material and street signs were broken or moved around, very maze-like.
